Logistics Management Analyst (Contingent Contract Award)

Job Description:

 Logistics Management Analyst for a position at an overseas location. This position may require OCONUS travel. Candidates selected will travel to Fayetteville, NC to in-process unless you are already here. Requirements of the position include Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. Assist Accountable Officer or Responsible Officer to conduct inventory of equipment and supplies. Supervise the personnel who clean, packs, crates, loads, unloads, palletizes, and prepares necessary paperwork for equipment movement by ground or air transport to and from FOB, DRMO, Class II, IV and VII warehouses. Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests. Maintains quality service by following organization standards. Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and Completes reports by entering required information. Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years’ experience at Source Supply Activity and Unit Supply level or
equivalent supervisory level experience in the US Army, Navy, Air Force or Marine Corps supply system. Ability to remain available to provide customer support. GCSS-Army work experience and other Logistics Information Systems. Must have the ability to resolve problems with little or no outside assistance. Must have a valid U.S Driver’s License. Able to deploy to, through and over combat or hostile fire areas, including Forward Operation Bases (FOB), and Advance Operating Bases (AOB) and APOD areas, via SOCCENT FWD approved air transport. Ability to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance. Ability to travel internationally. The successful candidate will be required to successfully complete customer required International Readiness Certifications.

Desired skills:

  • 3 years of logistics experience with the completion of the Army 92Y or 92A Service Schooling or sister service equivalent.
  • Experience with Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) is preferred with a thorough and complete understanding of manual property book hand receipt procedures. Prior Military experience.

Logistics Specialist I-III (Contingent Contract Award)

Job Description:
Disposition of (Code H Equipment), Inventory management, storage management, equipment allocation management, cataloging, and property utilization related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Assignments usually relate to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations. Assignments require: a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, ARs, FMs, DA Pams, DA DD SF Forms, and other established Standard Operations Program (SOP) guidelines. An understanding of the needs of the organization serviced.

  • Coordinate with subordinate unit maintenance personnel to track work order and requisition status for all maintenance jobs within the unit through GCSS-A.
  • Perform liaison duties with higher support agencies for maintenance support, training, and special requests.
  • Track and monitor work requests submitted through the work center.
  • Conduct logistical maintenance assistance with unit personnel.
  • Perform manual or automated walk-thru requests with installation supply support activity and surrounding internal/external units.
  • Track Classes of Supplies, shipment status up to receipt by unit personnel and follow-on installation of those repair parts to maintain reporting accuracy and readiness timeliness.
  • Create, review, and update daily and weekly reports and submit corrections back to units for update.
  • Recommend and implement changes to improve operational flow of information and data updates with units.
  • Perform shipping and receiving duties.
  • Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of repair parts on hand.
  • Required to make pick-up and deliveries of parts and paperwork in a government vehicle.
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to Supervisor.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Possess excellent work ethic, verbal, and written communication skills, and be detailed and accurate in performing all functions.
  • Be familiar with AR 710-2, DA Pam 710-2-1 and be able to write correspondence in a military format, when necessary.
  • Be able to operate a standalone computer without assistance and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Possess a valid, unencumbered state driver’s license.
  • Maintain files in accordance with applicable Army, Navy, and Department of Defense regulations.
  • High School Diploma or GED, bachelor’s degree
  • At least 3 yrs. experience in GCSS-A/Supply Field
  • Physical ability to lift to 50 pounds or more, bend, sit, stand, reach, and move about the facility.
  • A GCSS-A Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aid with Company and Battalion reports; perform individual job and parts status tracking for each job reported; and perform administrative functions for a Battalion sized maintenance section or element.
  • Be familiar with LIS systems for ordering parts for vehicle repair. Have knowledge of AMSS reporting data for receipt, review, and processing.
  • Be able to receive and process daily and weekly transaction listings from each unit within the Battalion, Brigade, or group while researching requisition status from CL II to IX items ordered.

  • Having the ability to teach personnel basic logistics functions in GCSS-A, such as ordering classes of supplies, tracking order status, and build Sub-handreceipts.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills, work well with others in a team setting.
  • Able to provide military consulting services for all the logistics functions listed in the job description. Present written detailed findings and implementations to mitigate re-occurrences.

Supply Management Specialist (Contingent Contract Award)

 Job Description:

  • The primary duties of this position will track costs and create reports and assist with contract receiving reports. The underlying task is accountability of all supplies and property book items.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Ordering supplies from a variety of vendors.
  • Handling the shipping and receiving for the warehouse and assisting management with tracking.
  • Reconciliation of invoices for receiving transactions and maintaining invoice database
    Separating, packaging, and distribution of supplies for all customer section accounts.
  • Manage stock control and re-order issues as customers rely on this input when stocks are nearly depleted, so they can be re-ordered.
  • Acting as liaison between the Section and the Property Book Office (PBO) which requires the individual to be familiar with the Unit property turn-in and receipt procedures.

    This is not an all-inclusive list of tasks that individual will be asked to do while assigned as the supply technician. There will be times that the individual will be required to accomplish tasks not outlined above in support of the customer.

Basic Qualifications:

Job Description:

The Job is requiring multiple positions for Logisticians who are responsible for conducting logistical operations by Maintaining and operating supply accountability and asset visibility procedures and in the resolution of issues encountered in the process. The Supply Technician, Material Expeditor, and Warehouse Specialist must be certified and fully proficient with the Global Combat Supply System-Army (GCSS-Army). The truck Drivers must have a CDL and Hazmat endorsement to operate vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

  • will be responsible for the day-to-day activities by using organizational resources to determine best practices for program executions and make decisions in accordance with the contracted work statement. The Supply Technician is responsible for maintaining high leadership standards and technical expertise to deliver the best customer service.
  • Works within the established supply regulation, policies, and procedures in the resolution of issues encountered in the process.
  •  Conducts maintenance of historical files, Administrative Adjustment Reports, receipt, issue, and transfer documents.
  • Review all authorized documents periodically.
  • Reviews daily and monthly records of all property and equipment transactions including petroleum products, unit/organizational basic/combat loads, and operating supplies.

Truck Driver:

  • Obey and follow all regulations in accordance with all on-post and off post safety.
  • Inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and performing preventative maintenance.
  • Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules.
  • Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

  • Work may require lifting up to 50 pounds, stooping, climbing and prolonged standing and/or sitting. Physical requirements include lifting, climbing stairs and extended sitting or standing.
